I guess you could call me a spoiled eater. I rarely eat left-overs and I won't eat a corner piece of cake, unless it's the only piece left (hey, cake is cake right?). Well, you get the idea. I figure if I'm the one making all the meals and goodies I should enjoy a few
privileges. So anyway, last night I made way too many enchiladas and instead of making dinner again tonight, I went ahead and served them for dinner. When I handed Maddy her plate she sort of wrinkled her nose and said, "We're having left-overs?" Aaron instantly responded with "Maddy, I ate left-overs every other day of my entire life." Then paused and
finished with "Well, until I married your mother, and now all left-overs are stored in the fridge to decompose." We both laughed and found the situation a little amusing. Maddy seemed fine after that and politely asked for some cold water to go with her enchilada, but I sort of wonder what kind of example I am setting. Does anyone have ideas for meals that have good left-over
possibilities. I've seen a few cook books where you make a meal with one thing and use the left-overs to create something different. Well, let me know if you find anything.
